Q: Am I Too Old to Start Training?
A: No. We take each student through our process according to their ability, regardless of their age. We tailor their training to suit their needs.
Q: I have an old injury/tricky shoulder/bad knee; can I still benefit from taking class?
A: YES. We are happy to work around any physical issues a person might have. We help everyone learn and train at their own pace.
Q: Will I get beat up in class?
A: No. Our goal is to help students learn, not to prove how tough we are by beating up the new folks. Sparring drills and combinations are taught and any sparring is controlled and supervised.
In our Kung Fu Program at Jade Mountain Martial Arts students learn traditional Kung Fu techniques and forms (including traditional weapons), striking skills (basic through advanced), effective self-defense skills, and correct exercise technique and methodology.
