Update: 1-1-2010 Happy New Year!! It's 2010 ! Welcome to the new year!! We're ready to hit the ground running...we've made some schedule changes to better serve the needs of our students. We've added another evening Kickboxing class, as well as our new SWEAT workout class in the mornings! Check our schedule page, to see what's new. Coming in January...the Fatal Flute Seminar!! Learn this ancient weapon of self-defense! Date and time to be announced.
Update: 8-1-2009 Mark Dong halfway finished with Krav Maga certification! Si Hing Mark Dong has completed the first half of his intensive training in the art of Krav Maga under the watchful eye of Gabi Noah, one of only 4 Masters of Krav Maga in the world. Only ten more long and arduous days of training remain before Mark becomes a fully certified Krav Maga instructor! Keep up the great work, Mark!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Congratulations to Shaun Lawler !!!! Gold Medal Winner at ADCC Submission Championships! Shaun fought against top competitors to walk away with the Gold Medal at this world famous competition, held on July 28, at Legends Sports Complex in Spring, TX. He won one match with a Kimura armlock, and completely dominated the next match to win on points. Congratulations again to Shaun Lawler! Be sure to pat him on the back when you see him!!
Update: 2-20-2009 Good Luck to Mark Dong and Mike Glover!!!! Mark and Mike will be competing at the Animal Fightwear Submission Grappling Championships on Saturday Feb 21. The competition will be held at Westside High School, 14201 Briar Forest Drive, Houston, TX 77077. Their weigh-ins start at 11am, and competition should start for their divisions after 12:30pm. Tickets are only $10, so come out and cheer for our competitors!!! Saturday Schedule, Feb 21st 2009 There have been some questions about our schedule on this day because of the Grappling Tournament. Here's what's going on: 9am Tai Chi is on. 10am Kung Fu is on. 11am Krav Maga Cancelled for Today Sifu Larry Escher is attending a seminar today, so Si Hing Shaun Lawler will be beginning Grappling Class early for those who would like to attend. 12am Grappling Class is on. See you all in class!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: 2-9-2009 New Classes for HOMESCHOOLERS!!! After receiving several requests for daytime classes for our local Homeschool population, we are currently adding to our class schedule! Testing will be available Monday, Jan. 22 through Saturday, Jan. 24. Please schedule your test with one of our instructors. We are pleased to announce the results of the Jade Mountain AAU Competition Team for 2008!! Of the 10 competitors, EVERYONE medalled in at least one event, and some brought home multiple wins!We are so very proud of our team. Hours upon hours of hard work went into training for these events, and the results speak for themselves.
