There's no such word as 'can't' ...
Kathryn Scott discovered a great love of martial arts entirely by accident. Unable to use a treadmill because of a tendon injury, a personal trainer suggested boxing pad-work as an alternative cardio exercise. With the first strike of the pad, the cardio became secondary and a journey into martial arts began. For the next two years Kathryn studied Western Boxing and Jeet Kune Do under trainer Cornelius Barnes, a former professional boxer and 3rd generation instructor in JKD.
After her trainer moved to another state, Kathryn started a search to find a martial arts home that would nurture her goals of martial arts training and increasing fitness, while still staying close to the concepts she had learned in JKD. After a long search, Kathryn found the supportive and enthusiastic atmosphere at Jade Mountain Martial Arts to be the perfect fit.
Kathryn throws her heart into her training every day, and loves sharing the knowledge she gains with other students, both adults and children.

only YOU limit what you can become"
